Town
of Grimsby Hanging Baskets - March 15 - 1:00pm at
Trillium
Hill, 471 Main Street West. Bring your gardening
gloves to help plant this year’s Town baskets. It’s a day in the garden ahead of the curve. You’ll see what our hanging
basket designs are, and enjoy a little social time after the plantings.
Floral Design Class 2015 - We are sponsoring a four-week floral design class at
the Pump House on Elizabeth Street.
The Tuesday evening sessions are April 21st, April 28th,
May 5th and May 12th. There will be more information at
our March meeting.
The Photography Show and Competition is scheduled for our April meeting. The Classes are:

Whistling Gardens Bus Trip – Only 6 spaces left! Saturday
June 27, 2015 - $65.00 all inclusive. Join in the fun and see both Whistling Gardens and
Bonnieheath Lavender and Winery Estate.
There will be a guided tour of each garden. Lunch on the grounds of Whistling Gardens is included in the
fee. This is a co-event with the Lincoln Garden Club. The fee is $65.00 a person via cash or
cheque.
Niagara Seedy Sunday - Sunday March 15,
2015 9:30am hosted by the District 9 Ontario Horticultural Association
and Master Gardeners Niagara. Place: Dunlop Older Adults Centre, 80 Dunlop
Drive, St. Catharines, ON L2R 1A7. Speakers and Workshops include: Bees in Peril, Vertical Gardening, Seed Exchange,
Seed Starting, Eco Friendly Gardening, Hands on Demos for Children. Admission: a toonie or your choice. All
profits donated to Start Me Up Niagara.
