Fabulous news. Our garden tour has been a success on all counts! Over 400 visitors came to see the gardens and one of them commented: "There is such a variety of gardens in a well organized tour, thank you".

The day was a fun day for all participants and a successful financial event for the Club. There were some obstacles - some garden changes and a shortage of garden sitter volunteers, but everything worked in the end.

Thankfully, the weather was perfect and everyone I met was thoroughly pleased with the gardens they’d seen.

From one of our garden volunteers:"I can't think of a more pleasant way to spend a morning than greeting happy garden tourists with big smiles on their faces and then thanking them for supporting the Grimsby Garden Club".

From one of our garden owners: "The event added so much to the fabric of Grimsby and brought people from afar. Seeing how it added to the knowledge of so many was special."
