Dugald was on the board of directors at The Toronto Botanical Garden from 1996 to 2009. He speaks on many subjects to many Horticultural Societies in Southern Ontario. He occasionally sat in for Ed Lawrence on CBC's Ontario Today, was first president of the Greater Toronto Bulb Society and is a member of numerous horticultural societies. His current gardening passions are tuberous Begonias, Clematis, Daffodils, Nerines and Tulips.

Membership for 2019 can now be renewed, $15 for an individual and $20 for Family. Our Membership Chair, Mary McLaren, will be looking forward to assisting you at our monthly meetings! All members that have renewed by March 31, 2019 will be considered as 'active members'. We have a great year of speakers & activities lined up and we look forward to all of you renewing and, hopefully, bringing along a few new friends. Volunteers are welcome to put their names in for next year's board members.
