Plant Sale Success
Congratulations to Peter Carr-Locke and Beth Sommers for the enormously successful plant sale on May 7th this year.  There was a substantial line-up before the doors opened at 9:00am and the sale sold out by 10:30am. This is our major fund-raiser each year, and more than $2,700 was raised.  Thanks to our team of over 45 volunteers who did everything to make it happen - digging up, potting up, plant transportation, hall set-up, sales operations, and even plant purchasing!

All our funds go to the community towards the hanging baskets, the Elm Street Beds, scholarships for students, monthly speakers at our meetings and more.

2016 Summer Trillium Program
The Summer Trillium activities start in June this year, with the launch of a nominations approach.  Please consider nominating a favourite garden or your own.  Nominations take place from June 1st to June 30th.  Find out more about the Trillium Program on our website "here".  Download a nomination form "here"

Celebrating our LJM Developments Donation
June 1st is the date for the official celebration of the LJM Developments generous donation of $2,000 to the Grimsby Garden Club for the town hanging baskets. This year marks the start of double baskets so we are expecting an exceptional display.  Stay tuned for the details on the timing of the ribbon-cutting event.
